UPSC Vision IAS Current Affairs Prelims Exam Date 2020

UPSC postpones Vision IAS Current Affairs Prelims 2020 exam due to lockout caused by corona virus (Govt 19) infection. The preliminary examination scheduled for May 31 has been postponed. When India was occupied by the East India Company, the civil services were classified into three categories namely contract, agreement and special civil services. Often referred to as the Civil Service, or the Civil Service of the East India Company (HEICCS), British civil servants hold senior government positions. When India was partitioned following the British withdrawal in 1947, the Indian Civil Service was divided between the new dominions of India and Pakistan. The Indian remnant of the ICS was renamed the Indian Administrative Service and the Pakistani remnant was renamed the Pakistan Administrative Service. The Modern Indian Administrative Service was created under Section 312 (2) of Part XIV of the Constitution of India, and the All India Services Act, 1951.

All India Services (AIS) includes Indian Civil Services, namely Indian Administrative Service (Vision IAS Current Affairs), Indian Forest Service (IFOS) and Indian Police Service (IPS).
